30th Celebration (Japanese) highlights
30th Celebration (Japanese) (M6a) is a Japanese release from the MEGA series, the counterpart to the English 30th Celebration expansion. It marks 30 years of Pokémon, with 30 different Pikachu cards drawn by 30 artists and a Pikachu card in every pack. Like other Japanese MEGA sets, it includes Mega Evolution Pokémon ex alongside art rares, special art rares and other high-rarity cards.
Frequently asked questions
Can I use Japanese cards if I don’t read Japanese?
Yes. The rules are the same in every language, and English translations of every card are easy to find online. Many collectors choose Japanese cards for their excellent print quality, distinctive artwork and value.
Should I open it or keep it sealed?
Collection boxes look great on display, so many collectors keep them sealed, while others open them for the promo cards and packs inside. Either way, it is a standout piece for any collection.
