Table of Contents

Which products can you still pre-order?
By November 2026, most of the range is already on shelves. A Pokémon 30th Anniversary pre-order now mainly makes sense for two groups of products.
- The December wave: the Binder Collection and the Pokémon ex Tins are the last English products still to release.
- Premium collections still arriving: the most recent products can take time to reach every store. Listings marked “PRE-ORDER” are reserved for you and ship as soon as stock lands.
You can see every open listing on our pre-orders page. Products already in stock ship without waiting.

How a Pokémon 30th Anniversary pre-order works at Obsidia Collectables
Placing a Pokémon 30th Anniversary pre-order with us takes five easy steps.
- Find the product. Pre-order listings show “PRE-ORDER” at the start of the product name.
- Check the details. Each listing explains what is in the box and the language of the cards.
- Order as normal. Add the product to your cart and check out like any other order.
- Stay updated. We email you if a release date or allocation changes.
- Receive your order. We pack and ship your Pokémon 30th Anniversary pre-order as soon as stock arrives.
Cancelling or changing a pre-order
You can cancel a pre-order at any time before the release date for a full refund. If a release is delayed, you can keep your order or cancel it, and if a product is cancelled or we cannot fill your order, we refund you in full. The details are in our Refund and Returns Policy.
Plan your Pokémon 30th Anniversary pre-order by pack count
If you are working to a budget, the number of booster packs in each product is the easiest way to compare them. Use this quick reference when planning a Pokémon 30th Anniversary pre-order.
- 30 packs: Ultra-Premium Collection Day or Night (29 standard packs plus one Classic Collection pack).
- 11 packs: Pokémon Center Elite Trainer Box, sold through Pokémon Center rather than general retail.
- 9 packs: Elite Trainer Box.
- 8 packs: Ditto Premium Collection.
- 6 packs: Booster Bundle.
- 5 packs: Mew or Mewtwo Figure Collection, and the Binder Collection.
- 4 packs: Pokémon ex Box and Pokémon ex Tin.
- 3 packs: Poster Collection and Tech Sticker Collections.
- 2 packs: Knock Out Collection, 2-pack blister and each Mini Tin.
Products with fewer packs usually include something else you may value, such as a promo card, a figure, a poster or accessories. Decide whether those extras matter to you before you choose.
Is there an English booster box?
The announced English range does not include a 36-pack booster box. The Booster Bundle and the Ultra-Premium Collections are the main ways to buy English packs in quantity, while Japanese and Chinese booster boxes are sold separately, including the Japanese M6a booster box.
For most collectors, the simplest plan is to choose one product for opening and one for display. An Elite Trainer Box or Booster Bundle covers the fun of opening packs, while an Ultra-Premium Collection or figure box makes a lasting centrepiece for your shelf.

Japanese and Chinese release dates
Every language launched together on 16 September 2026, but Japan has its own product line. The M6a booster packs, the Premium Deck Set and the FUTURISTIC BOX released on 16 September, followed by nine 30th CELEBRATION Card Sets on 16 October 2026. Traditional and Simplified Chinese products also launched on 16 September.
If you want to compare language versions before placing a Pokémon 30th Anniversary pre-order, our Japanese and Chinese comparison explains pack sizes and exclusive products.
Why some products are still sold as pre-orders after release
It can seem odd to see a pre-order for a product that has already launched overseas. Large releases are shipped to stores in allocations, and popular items such as Ultra-Premium Collections can arrive in more than one shipment. A pre-order simply reserves a box from the next delivery so you do not miss out.
Allocations are decided by publishers and distributors, not by individual stores. That is why we keep you updated by email if anything changes with your Pokémon 30th Anniversary pre-order, and why you can always cancel before release.
Tracking your order
Once you have placed an order, you can check its status at any time in your account. If you checked out as a guest, keep your order confirmation email, as it includes your order number for any questions.
If something does not look right, send us a message through our contact page with your order number and we will look into it.
Pokémon 30th Anniversary pre-order tips for Australian collectors
- Pre-order premium products early. Ultra-Premium Collections and figure boxes usually have smaller allocations than booster products.
- Compare contents, not just price. Count the packs and promos in each box so you know what you are paying for.
- Be wary of inflated resale prices. Marketplace prices often jump around release day before settling.
- Buy factory-sealed stock. A store that sells genuine, sealed product protects you from resealed or tampered boxes.
- Thinking about Japanese product? Japanese boxes sell through a lottery in Japan, so supply overseas is tighter. Our Japanese 30th Anniversary Pokémon guide explains the differences.
