Delta Reign Card List: 10 Amazing Chase Cards to Pull

Want to know what is in the Delta Reign card list? The Mega Rayquaza ex expansion released on 6 November 2026, and its 141 cards include four Mega Evolution Pokémon ex, brand-new Legendary Stadiums and a gold Mega Rayquaza ex at the very top.

This guide explains how the Delta Reign card list is numbered, every rarity, the top 10 chase cards, which cards were left out of English packs and the promos you need for a master set. For release dates and products, see our Delta Reign guide.

How the Delta Reign card list is numbered

The Delta Reign card list has 141 cards. Numbers 001 to 103 are the main set, and the secret-range cards run from 104 to 141. Secret-range cards are the alternate-art and premium versions collectors chase: Illustration Rares, Ultra Rares, Special Illustration Rares and the Mega Hyper Rare.

Most cards come from the Japanese set Storm Emeralda, with extra cards from Japan’s 2026 ex Starter Sets. Because of those additions, English numbering does not match the Japanese numbering, so keep separate checklists if you collect both.

Every rarity in the Delta Reign card list

Mega Evolution Pokémon ex

Four Mega Evolution Pokémon ex lead the set: Mega Rayquaza ex, Mega Golurk ex, Mega Malamar ex and Mega Golisopod ex.

Pokémon ex

Six regular Pokémon ex support the Megas, including Raikou ex and Talonflame ex.

Legendary Stadiums

Six Stadium cards pair up into three Legendary Stadiums. Each pair is played together and forms one larger illustration, and a pack that contains one half always includes both halves.

Illustration Rares

Fourteen Illustration Rares show Pokémon in full-art scenes. Kecleon has become a surprise favourite, and Groudon, Altaria and Azurill are also popular pulls.

Ultra Rares

Seventeen Ultra Rares give full-art treatments to Pokémon ex and Trainer cards, including Talonflame ex and Mega Golurk ex.

Special Illustration Rares

Six Special Illustration Rares cover Pokémon and Supporter cards. Mega Rayquaza ex, Mega Golisopod ex, Mega Golurk ex, Raikou ex and the Zinnia’s Trust Supporter are among them.

Mega Hyper Rare

The gold Mega Hyper Rare Mega Rayquaza ex sits at the top of the set and is the hardest card to pull.

Top 10 chase cards in the Delta Reign card list

These are the cards collectors most want. Prices move after every release, so treat this as a guide to demand rather than a price list.

  1. Mega Rayquaza ex, Mega Hyper Rare: the gold headline card.
  2. Mega Rayquaza ex, Special Illustration Rare: the set’s signature artwork.
  3. Mega Golisopod ex, Special Illustration Rare.
  4. Raikou ex, Special Illustration Rare.
  5. Zinnia’s Trust, Special Illustration Rare: the most wanted Supporter card.
  6. Mega Golurk ex, Special Illustration Rare.
  7. Kecleon, Illustration Rare: a fan favourite thanks to its playful artwork.
  8. Groudon, Illustration Rare.
  9. Altaria, Illustration Rare.
  10. Azurill, Illustration Rare.

What makes a card a chase card?

Not every rare card becomes a chase card. Collectors usually look for a mix of four things: a popular Pokémon, striking artwork, a hard-to-pull rarity and, sometimes, a strong role in competitive decks. Mega Rayquaza ex ticks every box, which is why its premium versions lead the list.

Artwork matters more than many people expect. Illustration Rares such as Kecleon show that a cheerful, detailed scene can become just as sought after as a powerful ex card.

Cards that matter most to players

If you play rather than collect, the most useful parts of the Delta Reign card list are the four Mega Evolution Pokémon ex, the Legendary Stadiums and the Supporter cards. Regular versions of these cards work exactly the same as their full-art versions, so you do not need the rarest prints to build a strong deck.

A Build & Battle Box or a few booster packs are an easy way to get a playable set of the key cards before you decide which deck to build.

Building a Delta Reign binder

  • The 103 main-set cards fill just under 12 pages of a nine-pocket binder.
  • The 38 secret-range cards fill just over four more pages, so leave room after the main set.
  • Place Legendary Stadium pairs side by side on the same page so the joined artwork lines up.
  • Add promo cards at the end, or in a separate binder, so the numbered set stays in order.

Checking condition before you sleeve

Before you file away your best pulls from the Delta Reign card list, take a moment to check them. Look at the centring of the border, the sharpness of the corners and edges, and the surface for any scratches or print lines. Cards in excellent condition are worth protecting in a top loader, especially if you might send them for grading later.

Cards that are not in English packs

The English Delta Reign card list is not identical to Storm Emeralda. Collectors noticed three changes when the full list appeared.

  • The full-art Ultra Rare version of Mega Rayquaza ex is not included in English packs. The Special Illustration Rare and Mega Hyper Rare versions are.
  • The regular Eevee ex from the Japanese Starter Sets is not part of the English set.
  • The Kyogre Illustration Rare was moved out of packs and released as a promo card instead.

What to expect when you open packs

The Pokémon Company does not publish official pull rates, so any odds you see online are estimates from collectors tracking their own openings. In practice, most packs contain regular cards and a holo, while secret-range cards turn up far less often.

That is why many collectors open a few packs for fun and then buy specific singles to finish the Delta Reign card list. It is usually cheaper than opening box after box in search of one card.

Keep a small notebook or phone note of the cards you have opened, so you always know exactly what is still missing from your collection.

Trading to complete your set

Trading is one of the best parts of collecting a new set. Duplicates of Illustration Rares and Ultra Rares are popular trade bait, and local leagues and collector groups are a great place to swap cards with people who need what you have spare.

Promo cards for a Delta Reign master set

A master set goes beyond the booster pack Delta Reign card list. These promos come with specific products:

  • A promo card in the Elite Trainer Box, with Kyogre promos in the Pokémon Center version.
  • Seel in the three-pack blister and Spritzee in the single-pack blister.
  • Three-card Delphox and Ampharos evolution lines in the Premium Checklane blisters.
  • Magmortar and Kommo-o in the Build & Battle Box.
  • Stamped Kyogre, Giratina and Groudon promos offered as a gift with purchase at selected retailers, including in Australia.

Delta Reign vs Storm Emeralda

Storm Emeralda launched in Japan in July 2026 with a smaller numbered list. The English Delta Reign card list combines that set with cards from Japan’s ex Starter Sets, which is why it reaches 103 main-set cards. Japanese packs also contain fewer cards than English packs, so the two versions open very differently.

If you collect both, treat them as two separate projects and track each language on its own checklist.

How to use the Delta Reign card list

  • Print or save a checklist and tick off cards as you pull them, starting with the 38 secret-range cards.
  • Keep both halves of each Legendary Stadium together in the same sleeve or binder pocket.
  • Sleeve every Illustration Rare, Ultra Rare and Special Illustration Rare straight from the pack.
  • Consider grading your best pulls. You can browse graded cards to see how slabs protect valuable cards.
